Gersif hosts the fifth phase of the regional business support caravan

Economy of the East
On Monday morning, December 8, 2025, the city of Gersif hosted the fifth phase of the regional caravan to introduce the support system for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), in the presence of the governor of the Gersif region, along with representatives of the General Federation of Enterprises of Morocco, representatives of partner institutions, economic actors, local enterprises and project holders.
This meeting came in the context of continuing efforts to facilitate the access of local businesses to the available support mechanisms and promote the entrepreneurial culture in the region, which has been registering a growing economic dynamism in recent years. The team gave a detailed presentation on the requirements of the approved support system, including the conditions of access and the associated procedures, emphasizing the accompanying approach that accompanies contractors from the file development stage to the approval stage.
The panel discussion gave attendees the opportunity to ask questions directly to the representatives of the concerned institutions, where explanations were provided on how to prepare the files, the required documents, and the administrative and financial tracking processes. The panelists also highlighted the opportunities that this system offers to the local business community, both in terms of financing and technical support, especially for start-ups and entrepreneurs.
This caravan is part of a regional program that seeks to spread the culture of entrepreneurship and expand the circle of beneficiaries of public support mechanisms, through field meetings that enable entrepreneurs to benefit from direct and simplified information. It is expected that this station will constitute an additional link in the institutional tracking process launched at the level of the eastern region, with the aim of promoting the integration of enterprises into the national economic cycle and strengthening their competitiveness.
The convoy will continue at its next stop on Thursday, December 11, in Nador, starting at 15:00, at the City of Professions and Competencies in Nador, as part of the same introductory process for local businesses and entrepreneurs who want to join the new support system.
