Tzeti criticizes a local official and accuses him of hindering investment initiatives in Nador

Economy of the East
Yasser Al-Tziti, the first deputy head of the Nador community and regional secretary of the Progress and Socialism Party, criticized a local figure who has served as head of an elected institution for nearly two decades. In a post on his official Facebook page, Al-Tziti accused the person in question of relying on personal interests rather than political convictions.
The official in question has not left any developmental impact in the area over the years of his work, but has left a huge void. He added that his appearance is limited to moments when he feels that someone is approaching his sphere of influence.
Controversial practices
The regional clerk described the figure as a “fake militant” who benefits from the efforts of public and elected institutions without providing any real service to citizens or advancing development projects. He emphasized that they focus on passing their interests and accumulating personal gains.
The official's name appears on all lists of benefiting from subsidies or real estate concessions granted by the state. He also noted that he exerts pressure on financial institutions and obstructs new investors, becoming an “undeclared guardian” of the local economy in the region.
Impact on the investment climate
These behaviors are one of the main reasons for the economic and commercial stagnation in Nador, the official said. He explained that the issue is not inaction, but that the way of acting leads to the thwarting of any investment initiative before it is launched.
These criticisms come amid a renewed debate about the reality of investment and development in Nador and the roles of local actors in improving the region's economic climate.
