Adel Waas calls for a night hospital and a cancer treatment center in Nador, among other demands at the New Generation of Development meetings

Economy of the East
Adel Waas, head of the regional union of pharmacists in Nador, called for the opening of a night hospital in Nador to relieve pressure on Al-Hassani Hospital, during his intervention during the third consultative meetings of the New Generation Local Territorial Development Program, which brought together trade unionists and parties in the presence of the city's pasha and the leaders of the leaders and captains of labor sectors.
Waas stressed that the Hassani hospital is under great pressure during night and weekend periods, calling for the opening of emergency rooms in all communities to alleviate this pressure. He also called for speeding up the opening of the regional hospital in Silwan and the cancer treatment center, noting that the movement of cancer patients to the city of Oujda puts psychological and financial pressure on them, considering this demand as an urgent necessity on which everyone agrees.
Regulation of the pharmaceutical industry
The head of the Nador Regional Syndicate of Pharmacists called for a draft law banning the advertising of medicines and pharmaceutical products on social media to avoid misleading patients who buy medicines without medical advice, putting their health at risk. He also called for the formation of specialized committees to monitor medicines sold in the market, and called on customs to tighten control over the importation of these medicines through border crossings, as they pose a threat to the health of citizens and the country's economy.
Due to the huge shortage of pharmacy assistants, Waas proposed the creation of a training division for pharmacy assistants at the City of Professions and Skills in Nador to revitalize the job market and encourage young people. He pointed out that the phenomenon of youth migration to European countries has led to a shortage of young talents needed by the labor market in the eastern region, especially in the medical and pharmaceutical field.
Proposals for inclusive development
He also called for the creation of higher schools of engineering and polytechnics to accompany industrial and agricultural projects in the region. He also called for the construction of new roads at the entrances to the city of Nador to address traffic congestion, especially during the summer when the Moroccan community living abroad and tourists enter the city. He concluded his proposals by calling for the modernization and development of the theater of the cultural complex in Nador to live up to the aspirations of the city's residents.
