School Calendar 2025-2026: List of public and school holidays in Morocco

The Kingdom of Morocco's official holiday calendar for 2025-2026 has been released, which includes religious and national holidays, as well as school holidays for various educational institutions operating in the country. This calendar not only concerns Moroccan schools, but also French, Spanish, and American schools, allowing students, parents, and teachers to plan their school year clearly.
Religious and national holidays are key days in the Moroccan calendar, reflecting the kingdom's spiritual and national identity. Religious holidays such as Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha are based on lunar sightings, while national holidays such as Green March Day and Independence Day have fixed dates. It should be noted that foreign schools operating in Morocco incorporate these national and religious holidays into their programs, while adding their own holidays.
French schools, for example, have a unified holiday system in line with their academic calendar, which includes fall, end-of-year, winter, and spring holidays. Similarly, Spanish schools follow their own calendar that includes Spanish national holidays and festivals, while incorporating Moroccan holidays. As for American schools, they follow a similar system, with holidays such as Thanksgiving and Independence Day being added to the local holidays. This diversity of calendars allows everyone to take advantage of organized breaks throughout the school year.
