Economy of the East
Following the conclusion of the extraordinary session on Thursday evening, December 11, the Nador Regional Council oversaw the distribution of a number of modern vehicles and equipment to a number of local communities in the region, as part of supporting their capacities in terms of basic services, especially in the fields of school transportation and drinking water supply.
The handover took place at the headquarters of the Regional Council, in the presence of the President of the Nador Regional Council, Mr. Said Rahmouni, along with a number of elected officials and heads of the beneficiary communities. This step is part of the Council's programs aimed at supporting local communities and strengthening their means of operation, in line with the mandate given to regional councils in the field of logistical support and local development.

The distribution process included the delivery of a truck with a water tanker to the community of Azgangan, with the aim of supporting water supply operations, especially during periods of pressure on water resources or situational difficulties in distribution. A school bus was also delivered to the community of Azzangan, in the context of supporting schooling and reducing school wastage, especially in rural and semi-rural areas.
In the same context, the Beni Wakil Oulad Mahnad community benefited from a school bus to enhance transportation services for students and facilitate their access to educational institutions, thus contributing to improving school conditions and ensuring continuity of education.
According to the regional council, this process reflects an approach aimed at responding to the needs of local communities according to their priorities, with a focus on social sectors that are directly related to the daily lives of citizens, primarily education and basic services.
This distribution comes in a general context in which the local communities in the Nador region are facing increasing challenges related to expanding services and improving their quality, which makes the support of machinery and equipment a factor in enhancing management efficiency and achieving greater proximity in the provision of public services.
