The city of Nador is witnessing an important development movement in the infrastructure sector, with ASSREM NEGOCE winning a deal to rehabilitate roads and public lighting worth 720 million centimeters. This ambitious project aims to improve the quality of life for citizens and enhance the city's economic and tourism attractiveness.

According to administrative documents, this project includes a full range of specialized technical works aimed at upgrading the urban road network and lighting systems in multiple neighborhoods of the city. The project includes reconstruction of deteriorated roads and strengthening of existing roads, as well as the implementation of advanced resurfacing and paving works.

Technically, the project will include the application of new layers of asphalt according to European standards EB 0/10, ensuring durability and high quality of the new roads. New sidewalks will be constructed and painted with weather-resistant materials, pavement borders will be installed, waterways will be leveled, and manhole covers will be cleaned.

The geographical scope of the project includes several strategic neighborhoods in Nador, including the city center, Ould Ibrahim, Akhdaf and Ait Issa neighborhoods. Important streets such as Hassan II Street and the roads around March 3 Street will benefit from these development works, as well as areas close to the Youth Street in Oulad Ibrahim and the roads leading to the bridge near Diar Arid.

This project is expected to improve traffic flow within the city and enhance traffic safety, especially in congested commercial and residential areas. The project will also enhance the competitiveness of Nador as an important economic center in the eastern region, which may attract new investments and support local economic growth.

This initiative comes as part of the ongoing efforts to modernize the infrastructure in the Eastern Provinces, which aims to keep pace with rapid urban developments and meet the needs of the growing population. These investments are expected to have positive repercussions on various economic sectors in the city, from trade and services to tourism and transportation.
