Halim Foutat mobilizes Bani Ansar in preparation for Operation Marhaba 2025“

As part of the annual preparations for Operation Marhaba 2025, the head of the Beni Ansar Regional Council, Abdelhalim Foutat, organized a full mobilization of all the community's services in preparation for the reception of the Moroccan community living abroad. According to the directives issued by Foutat, efforts have been intensified to rehabilitate the Beni Ansar crossing, focusing on repairing all defects that may hinder the movement of crossers, as well as re-equipping the crossing and its infrastructure.
The planned work includes the maintenance of public lighting, improving the cleaning system, as well as repainting the crossing to give it an aesthetically pleasing appearance worthy of the level of reception. In this context, Mr. Fouad Saqsaq, Vice President in charge of the reservation and maintenance, was assigned to supervise the maintenance of the lighting inside and outside the border crossing. Mr. Omar Berkan was also tasked with providing all the equipment and shortages that the crossing needs to ensure smooth operations.
In a move to increase coordination, Mr. Abdelhalim Foutat, in the presence of the Commander of the Fourth District, acting on behalf of the Pasha of Beni Ansar, chaired a coordination meeting with a number of traders of the street leading to the border crossing. During the meeting, the president gave a detailed explanation about this year's reform plan, which aims to improve and beautify the street. Some merchants expressed concern, thinking that the meeting was about removing the sun and rain guards of the bishan shops, but things changed when the president explained that the issue is related to the repairs carried out by the community in coordination with the local authorities in preparation for Operation Marhaba, which is being implemented by the police department. The group's administrative police department, headed by Mr. Mohamed Saghir, is responsible for the implementation of the operation.
