Social Security in the East Region organizes a communication meeting with accountants to discuss the latest developments

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF), through the Eastern Region Directorate and the Regional Monitoring and Inspection Department, organized a communication meeting this morning in Oujda with the region's certified accountants. The meeting was dedicated to explaining the contents of Decision No. 1314-25 issued by the Ministry of Finance, related to the determination of the social security contribution threshold.

The meeting was attended by a large number of accountants, experts and professionals, and was an opportunity to open an in-depth discussion on the developments of the new decision. This decision aims to modernize the basis for calculating contributions and expand the base of authorized persons, in order to achieve greater transparency among economic actors.

Explanations of officials

Mohamed Azouaoui, Regional Director of Social Security in the East Region, explained that this meeting comes within the framework of the Fund's keenness to keep abreast of the new reform decisions affecting enterprises and accountants, as they are key partners in the social protection system. He added that the new decision constitutes a practical step towards rationalizing the relationship between the Fund and enterprises by adopting objective criteria to determine the contribution base, which contributes to reducing conflicts and enhancing mutual trust.

For his part, Sufian Ghazali, Head of the Regional Monitoring and Inspection Department, stressed that the meeting is part of a series of communication initiatives organized by the Fund in the various regions of the East Region, with the aim of simplifying the requirements of the ministerial decision and explaining its technical procedures to accountants and professionals. He pointed out that the main objective is to consolidate the culture of voluntary compliance and encourage an active and responsible involvement in the reform of the social system.

Accountants' role in the download

Youssef Hamoutou, President of the Regional Council of Accountants in the East Region, said that the meeting embodies the spirit of cooperation between the Social Security Institute and the Board of Accountants, which is important to ensure the proper and transparent implementation of Resolution 1314-25. He added that the certified accountant plays a pivotal role in the relationship between the enterprise and the administration, and it is necessary to involve him in everything related to social declarations and related obligations.

The meeting was characterized by great interaction from the attendees, who raised a number of technical questions on how to implement the decision and its practical requirements. The meeting concluded by affirming that similar meetings will continue to be organized in the different cities of the Eastern Province, in order to consolidate the approach of professional dialogue and build trust between the administration and its economic environment.
