The absence of a fish market raises health and organizational issues
The absence of a fish market in Berkane was the focus of discussion during the meeting, which noted the negative repercussions of this situation on health safety conditions and the regulation of the sector. The current situation requires urgent intervention to ensure the quality of seafood products offered and to protect the health of consumers.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohamed Zahiri, the first vice-president, Mr. Mohamed El-Shirak, the fourth vice-president, and Ms. Monia Fathi, the fifth vice-president, in addition to members of the collective council and representatives of the concerned departments.
Technical steps for project output
The meeting concluded with an agreement to update the topographical design of the plot of land allocated for the project, in preparation for the preparation of the full technical file. This file will be forwarded to the Berkane regional governorate to take the necessary measures to launch the project.
This initiative is part of Berkane's efforts to respond to the needs of professionals and improve the services provided to citizens. It also seeks to strengthen commercial infrastructures in line with the requirements of health, safety and urban development.
