Eastern Chamber of Commerce approves incubator fees in Oujda and Nador

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the East, during its second ordinary session of 2025, held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, in Oujda, unanimously approved the price for the use of the business incubator facilities in both Nador and Oujda. This decision comes within the framework of the operationalization of structured projects to support startups and promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the Eastern Province, where the business incubator in Oujda and Nador is expected to play a pivotal role in accompanying young entrepreneurs and providing a suitable environment for the development of their projects.
Strategic projects on the table
The session was held at the Chamber's headquarters in Oujda, under the chairmanship of Abdelhafid Jaroudi, President of the Chamber, in the presence of the Vice Presidents and members of the Chamber and representatives of local authorities and administrative departments. The session was characterized by responsible discussions on the various issues on the agenda, which included approving the minutes of the previous session and presenting a comprehensive report on the Chamber's activities during the period between the two sessions.
The members also approved amendments related to the Oujda Startup Incubator project, as well as the Chamber's development plan for 2006-2025. As part of its commitment to environmental responsibility, the Chamber approved a decision to contribute to sensitization campaigns against the use of banned plastic bags, in the context of sustainable development.
Supporting the economic fabric of the Eastern Province
For his part, Abdelrahim Lazar, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the Eastern Province, stressed that this session confirms the spirit of harmony and collective responsibility within the organization. He pointed out that the unanimity of the session reflects the confidence of the members in the strategic direction of the chamber and its endeavor to develop the economic fabric and enhance the attractiveness of investment in the Eastern Province.
Lazar added that this session is an important milestone to continue implementing structured economic projects that seek to support small and medium-sized enterprises, especially through the incubators in Nador and Oujda. He emphasized that the chamber continues its approach to open up to economic actors and institutional partners for the comprehensive and sustainable development of the Eastern Province.
The session was concluded in an atmosphere of seriousness and consensus, with the president and members praising the spirit of cooperation that characterized the discussion, emphasizing the continuation of joint work to serve the economic and social development of the eastern region. Finally, a cable of loyalty and devotion was presented to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him.
