Istiqlal Party in Oujda launches a program to qualify youth in artificial intelligence and digital marketing

The Istiqlal Party in Oujda organized a communication meeting with young people, chaired by Dr. Omar Hujira, senior party leader and Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, as part of the “Year of Volunteering 2025” initiative launched by the party's Secretary General, Dr. Nizar Baraka. This meeting comes as part of the September activities dedicated to increasing digital capabilities among youth, in a move that reflects the party's commitment to keep pace with digital transformations and empower the young generation with the tools of the age.
The meeting, which was held at the party's headquarters in Oujda, was attended by a group of young women and men from various organizations and associations affiliated with the Istiqlal Party. During his speech, Dr. Hujaira focused on the importance of developing digital skills in light of the rapid development in the technological field, stressing that this initiative aims to launch a series of free voluntary workshops open to all youth of Oujda and the region.
The initiative revolves around several main axes, most notably the promotion of digital capabilities and the good and useful use of artificial intelligence among the various neighborhoods of Oujda and neighboring communities. It also includes organizing specialized training workshops on digital marketing mechanisms, with the aim of empowering youth with greater knowledge and opportunities to contribute to the world of social media in a positive and productive way. These workshops aspire to provide participants with practical skills that will enable them to ensure a sustainable monthly income through the digital economy.
The meeting witnessed a great interaction by the party's cadres and youth, who expressed their full involvement in this qualitative initiative related to raising digital capabilities and knowledge of artificial intelligence. The participants stressed that these events represent a valuable opportunity for young people to acquire modern skills in line with the requirements of the labor market, praising the visionary vision of the Secretary-General who launched this ambitious program at the national level.
The meeting was attended by Mohamed El-Zein, the party's inspector, Dr. Issam Issaoui, a member of the Istiqlal Unity and Equilibrium Team in the House of Representatives, as well as Faisal Fateh, the regional secretary of the General Workers' Union (UGTT). The presence of these leading figures reflects the importance the Istiqlal Party attaches to the issue of framing youth and developing their capacities in vital fields.
The “Year of Volunteering 2025” program launched by the Istiqlal Party is a comprehensive community initiative that includes various activities in various developmental and social fields. This initiative aims to consolidate the culture of volunteerism and enhance the contribution of citizens in building a solidarity and developed society, with a special focus on empowering youth with the skills and tools needed to face the challenges of the future and contribute effectively to local and national development.
