Operation Marhaba 2025 was an exceptional success during the summer season, welcoming more than 4 million Moroccans living abroad from June 10 to September 15. This achievement represents a quantum leap with a growth rate of nearly 11% compared to the previous year, reflecting the continuous development of the Moroccan community's reception services.

The Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity has succeeded in setting a new record, with more than 4,060,000 Moroccans living abroad benefiting from the operation. These outstanding figures highlight the strength of the ties between Moroccans living abroad and their homeland, as well as the effectiveness of the logistical and human coordination mobilized to ensure an optimal reception.

The organization's communications director, Sanaa Dardikh, revealed that this resounding success reflects the deep emotional and cultural attachment that Moroccans living abroad have to their country of origin. It also shows the high level of planning and organization that characterizes this huge annual operation.

Tanger Med was the main hub for passenger arrivals, accommodating 555,753 passengers and 175,808 vehicles, representing 35.9% of total maritime and land arrivals and 21% of vehicle traffic. In contrast, Casablanca's Mohammed V Airport received 320,395 passengers, equivalent to a quarter of total air arrivals, underscoring the importance of these two strategic ports.

To ensure integrated and high-quality services, 26 Merhaba sites were deployed across strategic points, including 20 in Morocco and 6 in Europe, spread between France, Spain and Italy. These sites provided various services, including social, medical and administrative support, with 45,465 services recorded, including 2,858 specialized medical interventions.

The operation was characterized by high efficiency in dealing with emergency cases, with around 50 urgent cases being transferred to specialized hospitals to receive the necessary treatment. More than 800 passengers also benefited from immediate assistance when experiencing technical failures or various difficulties during their journey, reflecting the overall readiness to face all challenges.

The operation's management adopted a sophisticated strategy to regulate the flow of travelers, which included the implementation of a mandatory reservation system for tickets with specific dates and times for cruises during the month of August. This innovative measure effectively minimized congestion and ensured optimal fluidity at all entry points, enhancing the positive travel experience for Moroccans returning home.
