Remittances from Moroccans living abroad reached 92.7 billion dirhams at the end of September 2025, according to provisional data from the Exchange Office. This is a slight increase of 1.1% compared to the same period in 2024, when remittances amounted to 91.7 billion dirhams.

The figures reflect a relatively stable flow of money sent by Moroccans living abroad to their home country. Over the course of a full year, the increase amounted to about 1 billion dirhams, indicating a moderate evolution in the volume of these remittances.

According to available data, France remains the main source of remittances for Moroccans living abroad, followed by Spain, Saudi Arabia and Italy, according to statistics recorded in recent years.
