The financial contribution is divided between the National Initiative for Human Development, which covered 90% of the value of the projects, while the beneficiaries bore 10% as their own contribution. This distribution comes within the framework of encouraging young people to commit to their projects and take part of the responsibility for their success.

Supporting the economic inclusion of youth in Fiji

The Income Enhancement and Economic Integration Program for Youth seeks to enable young people to launch income-generating projects, thereby enhancing self-employment opportunities within the region. This approach falls within the vision of the National Initiative for Human Development, which aims to achieve the economic and social integration of young people and encourage them to contribute to the local development dynamic.

This initiative reflects the government's continued efforts to support young talents and provide the necessary funding mechanisms to transform ideas into viable, realistic projects that serve economic development at the regional level.
